I am about to transfer to a new school next semester but ..?

I attend Lasell college and i hate it, and on top of how much i hate it my parents are telling me its too costly. I want to transfer to Um Amherst but the spring application has ped. My parents are pushing me hard to transfer after the semester, I am planning on transferring to Um Dartmouth considering if i am accepted ( im not to worried considering my grades). What i was wondering is if it is normal , or acceptable to spend one more semester at Um dartmouth and Transfer again after the year to Um Amherst.
