Tips for catching Largemouth on hard bait???

I was just wondering if anyone had any tips i could use for catching largemouth b on hard bait. I watch my father and his friends catch 3 pounders almost every time i go out but i never seem to get anything. Ive got almost every type of rapala lure and several times of zara spook topwater baits along with an arsenal of spinner baits. I have caught alot of fish on cranckbaits but never LMB. Any tips could help.
