Melanoma...do i have it?

i have this mole on my upper thigh. its raised on the skin, 2 mm in diameter, and dark brown. it is painless, but what worries me is that it is almost split into two. kind of a heart shaped ball of a mole, also it is loose on the skin and a feel like i can pull it off. i have had it for 7 years and it hasnt changed. could it be melanoma with those charcacteristics even though ive had it for so long and it hasnt changed.
