Thinking about joining the idf but i dont speak hebrew?

Ok so i have always wanted to join an army and tried to join the american army and air force but they gave to much crap about joining since i did something stupid when i was 14 (a really small misdemeanor) and they wouldnt let me join cause of that. I have a dual citizenship with america and israel and have always liked israel more than the US, but i dont qualify as a lone soldier since my dad lives there and i dont speak the language. (I knew it wen i was, 5 wen i lived there but forgot it all would it be easy for me to learn it?) in my situation would it be worth joining the idf, i dont want to get stuck in some lame supply job if i join i would want to go all out and fight for my country in an infantry unit. So with all that in mind do u think it is worth me joining? (sorry about if the wording is weird i had a lot to get out.)
