Why do people keep believeing in the moon hoax?

I think it is because as a wise man once said "there is a sucker born every minute" and a lot of minutes have gone by since anyone has landed on the moon and we live in a world where t.v. reminds people of events going on in the world every minute of every day, so after a while people don't hear about the moon landings they start to think maybe my parents/guardians are pulling my leg, and they start to make stuff up and next thing you know there saying it never happened at all, and even when some people are proved to be wrong they still choose to believe what they think is the truth and they convince others of there delusions.
