What are your feelings on US Government monetary restitution for slavery?

I am of northern European descent. Would it be right for me and my family to sue Italy for restitution because our horde was captured and enslaved by the Roman Empire? Would it be possible to get paid for some of my other ancestors being forced to build Hadrian's Wall? I think not - Does that answer your question?
